Very cute book! I already have the Grandma Loves You book by Helen Foster James and when I saw this book, I decided I should purchase it for my granddaughter. This book has a really cute story that is similar to the Grandma story and yet has its own twist to it. The pictures are adorable and even though my granddaughter is just a baby, she was mesmerized by the drawings. It is a quick read but a book you will want to read over and over to your grandchild until it is memorized. Its a touching story for any grandfather to a grandchild.
Absolutely adorable. Big print and easy to read. Illustrations are fantastic. Great book for any grandpa to give their grandchild. I also bought the book "Grandma Loves You" by the same author for all of my grandchildren. We are going to give them to our grandchildren for Valentine's Day next year. There is a place to write a letter to your grandchild and a place to attach a photo on the accompanying page so your grandchild will always remember how much you loved them.
I bought both books--gma and gpa for our grandson who turns 3 in August. They are sweet stories that we hope our grandson will cherish as much as we do him. Nice that we can add a picture in the back and personalize these lovely books for him to remember just how much he is loved.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this book as far as a story line and took a chance simply because I liked the cover photo and I couldn't be happier! Written in rhyme and super cute, it uses many of the endearing nicknames we use for children, like "cutie pah tootie" "sweetie pie" & "pumpkin"It is well made in heavy cardboard, the illustrations are beautiful and the script is easy to read.**Be sure to look for "Grandma Loves You" --written in the same style and complimenting illustrations with a different story. Both are a loving addition to any child's book collection.
I love the Helen Foster James books Grandpa Loves You and Grandma Loves You. I may end up ordering one for every grandchild so they can keep them to hand down.
