"PS...You're Mine" by Alexa Riley.....Oh My God! This novella was adorable! It was super short but another sexy, dirty read by Alexa Riley. I still can't believe for as long as I have been reading, I picked up my first ever read by Alexa only a few months ago. What have I been missing? What closet have I been hiding in? Well I am not hiding anymore and I am so addicted to her books!Here we have the "pen pal" trope. this sweet story was about high school teacher Katie Lovely and Marine Sergeant Mark Gunner.Katie's English class is writing to members of the military as a friendly and supportive project. Somehow there was an extra name on the list so Katie decides to write a letter herself rather than a soldier being left out. Does she foresee what writing that first letter will gift her? Nope...Mark has been in the military for a very long time but will be retiring soon. In fact he has one year left of active duty so his days in the desert are numbered. Something he would never expect to be doing is falling in love via Katie's letters. Even being thousands of miles away from her doesn't prevent Mark from the intense feelings he has growing of his sweet Katie.I will add that these two lovable characters are physically apart for most of the book however, that didn't matter at all. The development of their relationship was actually believable, sweet and steady.BONUS: All though Katie and Mark's story ends halfway through the book, Alexa Riley has given us a bonus story, "Snow and Mistletoe," another quick and super cute read as well!
Alexa Riley can usually be counted upon to write an excellent short that is super sweet with an h that is confident in who she is and an H that knows what he wants and the determination to get it. I loved this very short penpal story and even though I have Kindle Unlimited and borrowed it originally, I had to purchase it because it is definitely a feel good story that I will read again. I loved Katie and Mark and how they fell for each other but had never even met. Having been in the military, I truly understand what receiving a letter or care package means to military member and this story captures that feeling perfectly. The authors describe this book as "a super quick, sweet, and dirty read" and I agree with the super quick and the sweet but it is only dirty at the very end and the story itself it was held my attention and not the couple of pages of dirty (that in my opinion weren't even needed to make this an enjoyable read).

Don’t get me wrong, the sex is steamy, but the story here was one that grabbed my attention and kept it.The Worst Parts:Of course I ALWAYS want more with Alexa’s books, but with this one I didn’t need more. I had just enough to fall in love with these characters and fully believe in their story even though it was super short.
This was a really tweet and endearing fairytale read with very heartwarming and endearing characters. Imagine those days before the advance of technology when you have limited means of contact and are totally dependent on letters. This story embodies the whole idea of meeting the love of their life via letters and building a strong connection being miles apart.Mark is anxious to finally meet Katie and make her his but the paper work for his discharge is taking a bit longer than he expected. Knowing that her last letter to him would have returned to her before he saw her as him feeling a bit anxious and just hoping that she waits for him. Katie is a bit anxious and deeply concerned at her returned letter to Mark and the lack of communication. But thanks to her best friend's moral boost and support, she is back on track thinking positive and awaiting some form of communication from Mark.
Katie is adorable sweet teacher whose class is in a project called Adopt-a-marine since one of her students leaves she doesn't want any Marine to feel sad for not getting a letter.. so she writes to Sergeant Major Mark Gunner...When Mark gets her letter he is confused on who is sending him this after reading he is already into Katie.. the letters are adorable they are starting to grow feelings for one another.. but what happens when Mark is about to retire from being Sergeant? are these letters/phone calls going to stop? is this their end?I love Alexa Riley my only thing is.. i wish there were more letters... or maybe a skype call ;D beside that i had no problem
